2. Maintain customer relationships by initiating new product designs or product redesigns as requested by customers, preparing project status reports, presenting proposed designs or redesigns to customers for approval, and coordinating prototype builds.
3. Design and develop new products and product modifications to satisfy customer demands by collecting and analyzing product and engineering data, generating finite element computer models, providing instructions for and coordinating the building of prototypes, writing specs for manufacture of new designs or redesigns, and specifying critical dimension tolerances.
