1. Manage methods of operation to achieve increased productivity, equipment maintenance efficiency, and quality effectiveness with effective use of manpower and materials and decreased cost.
2. Implement the plant production schedules to ensure customer needs are met.
3. Manage and coordinate activities of production operations to maximize equipment effectiveness and productivity.
4. Manage and coordinate activities of the technical teams to drive technical / engineering and manufacturing quality in the various production lines (including welding)
5. Create and maintain effective systems for employee communications and drive continuous
improvements projects to enhance operational needs.
6. Administer and direct the administration of salaried and hourly personnel policies and procedures including but not limited to hiring, training, promotion, transfers, and discipline.
7. Manage employee performance and drive discipline within the operations/ technical work force
8. Oversee the continuing training and development of all manufacturing and technical support staff.
9. Direct continuous improvement initiatives to improve employee safety, plant productivity, and quality and reduce cost.
10. Participate in the development and implementation of the long-term operations plan.
11. Perform special projects and serve on teams as assigned.
? Undergraduate degree or above in a mechanical-related field, wheels / hub industry experience is a plus.
? A minimum of ten years experience in the management of factory operations.
? Must have extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and equipment/facility maintenance.
? Must have strong management skills to plan, organize, direct, and control activities of production, quality and maintenance.
? Must be aware of Federal, State and local policies and legislation governing quality, safety, environmental and human relations issues.
